Kenny discovered CrossFit through his girlfriend Jessica. He has since fallen in love with not only her but also the sport of CrossFit. He later married said girlfriend and scaled the mountains of her heart and all the workouts posted on the whiteboard. While slowly dying in the middle of one of these well-programmed WODs, he had a final wish…to utilize his filmmaking skillset he learned in the great city of Los Angeles to capture athletes much fitter than he.

He has since filmed spotlights of the courageous athletes at Dirty South Strength and Conditioning as well as advertisements for the amazing gym. This has taken him to film the media of the Crossfit Games Semifinals, West Coast Classic and the Granite Games. He has filmed CrossFit greats, including top-ranked American Keri Pearce, ABC’s The Bachelorette contestant and Games athlete Luke Parker and individual Crossfit Games champ Camille LeBlanc-Bazinet. He loves filming athletes from acrobats and dancers to IFBB figure pros and Olympic Weightlifters. However, nothing warms his heart more than filming the courageous members at DSSC. He hopes to be a world-class filmmaker as well as a world-class “scale and bail” CrossFit athlete.
