Jonathon Womack

Coach

Jonathon (nicknamed “Wo”) retains a majority of his roots from his hometown of Los Angeles, CA, but primarily grew up in Fayetteville, GA where he played football and most notably ran as a leader of the Track & Field team for Whitewater High School. His summers were spent with the Southside Pioneers Track & Field Club where he would compete nationally in AAU and USATF track meets. Jonathon went on to run track at Kennesaw State University for two years before changing paths and receiving an associates degree at SAE Institute Atlanta due to his passion for music and sound.

After being away from competitive sports for a couple of years, losing fitness and athleticism due to lack of proper motivation, and moving back home after sustaining a spinal injury, Jonathon decided to join a community committed to strengthening his body and living a healthier lifestyle. Only knowing the bare minimum about CrossFit from an experience years prior, Jonathon found DSSC in late 2020.

Wo’s long term goal is to not only attain and sustain a lifelong level of fitness, but also to inspire and teach his family, friends, and community about the benefits of challenging oneself through exercise.
