DSSC NYE Ruck 2024
Join us for a 6-Hour Team Ruck to finish out 2024!
SCHEDULE (31 December 2024)
Start: 12:00 pm
End: 6:00 pm
Ruck will start and finish at Drake Field Pavilion in PTC.
TEAMS
Teams may consist of up to 6 people at any given time.
Teams must have a minimum of 3 people at all times.
Teammates can swap out and complete a portion of the event, or the entire event.
Signup with your team at the gym…or add your name to the “need a team” list and we will find you a team!
SCORING
A team photo must be taken at each checkpoint.
Photos must show all teammates together + all weighted implements, and be posted to Instagram, tagging @dssc.fayette and #DSSCNYERuck
Implements:
Each team will be assigned 2 weight vests + 1 painted log
All implements must reach each checkpoint and be visible in the photos to receive credit for that checkpoint
Team members (a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6) must reach each checkpoint and be visible in the photos to receive credit for that checkpoint
Points:
(X) points earned per checkpoint for weighted implements
1 point earned per person, per checkpoint (up to max of 6)
Scoring spreadsheet will be given out to teams before the Ruck
All participants must return to Drake Field pavilion NO LATER THAN 6:00pm on 12/31/2024
Supplies:
Please come prepared! Recommended items to stock your pack with: 1 gallon of water per person; flashlight or headband, phone, band-aids, blister protection, 2 pairs replacement socks, sunglasses and/or hat, snacks, money, ___________________________
