DSSC 5K race on the day after our annual Thanksgiving ‘Shake n Bake’ workout! We will meet at Drake Field to run around Lake Peachtree.
Below is a basic 5K training program covering 8 weeks to prepare for the race.
Note: this is a general training program aimed to provide progressive run training twice/week for all athletes. Beginner runners should focus on continuous movement for the time domains listed, while experienced runners should focus on speed/intensity. Adjustments may be necessary to fit personal goals.
