2025 USAW Nationals

Post Competition Update. July 1st

Carly came into 2025 Nationals with a 191 total (87 Snatch and 104 CnJ). That was the minimum total you could have to compete. There was a total of 25 girls in her weight class (77kg). This means they have to be over the weight class below (69kg) and under the 77kg and have achieved at least a 191 total in competition.
Snatch:
1) 84kg (185lb)
2) 86kg (189 lb)
3) 88kg (194lb ) Competition PR

Clean and Jerk]
1) 102kg (224 lb)
2) 104kg (229 lb) Ties her competition best
3) Missed 106kg (233 lb) attempt.

Total: 192kg (88kg+104kg) PR Total.

She came in 3rd in her session (B Session) (They split the 25 girls into A and B. A will be girls with top totals and B will be lower totals.

She came in 12th out of 25 in the 2025 77kg Women’s Nationals, so overall a pretty good result!

DSSC would like to congratulate Carly Brown on qualifying for the 2025 USAW Nationals. She qualified in the 77kg Women’s Open Division. She has previously competed in Junior Nationals, U23 Nationals, and now Nationals in the Open division.

How does she do this!?
1) You sign up and compete in a local meet. (We’re doing one in August in ATL if you wanna play!) If you lift enough weight, you can qualify for bigger meets.
b) Carly hit a 191kg (420lbs) total: Snatch 87kg (191lbs) and Clean and Jerked 104kg (229lbs)

She will be lifting (most likely) June 29th in Colorado Springs. You should be able to stream the meet. Details will be here as they become available.
