She loves competing and loves challenging people to do things they never dreamed they could do.

As an athlete, it’s always great to hit a personal record (PR); however, it is even MORE gratifying to have someone you’ve coached day in and day out hit a goal or PR, knowing how hard they worked, what it took to get there.

As a coach, she wants to bridge the medical world with the fitness world. Her passion is to work with people dealing with all types of medical conditions: to work with diagnoses from hypertension to diabetes and use diet and exercise to restore them in a safe and effective way, to work with pregnant and postpartum women during and after pregnancy to stay fit and healthy for herself and the baby, and to rehabilitate injuries, new or old, to increase activities of daily living.  Her goal is to prove to people that neither age nor diagnosis determine one's capabilities.
